Teller I - Part TimeThis position is responsible for providing exceptional service to bank customers by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of customers by referring them to appropriate departments in the bank.Major duties and responsibilities include:Explains, promotes, and sells products and servicesReceives checking and savings depositsIdentifies counterfeit currencyCashes checks and pays out moneyAnswers basic customer inquiriesAccepts loan paymentsBuys and sells currency from the vaultReceives FICA paymentsFollows procedures for removing accounts from dormancyBalances drawer dailyCounts and balances cash in automated teller machinesAttends weekly sales meetings and monthly community bank meetingsAdditional duties and responsibilities include handling customer complaints, recommending methods to improve department, completing compliance exams, and adhering to all First United policies and procedures.Employee specifications include a high school diploma or GED, cash handling or customer service experience, basic mathematical skills, exceptional customer service skills, good problem-solving and decision making skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and dependable time management.
