- The Eddy Scurlock Stroke Center is the first DNV-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center in the nation
- The stroke team provides telestroke services to approximately 3,000 additional patients annually
- Houston Methodist - The Woodlands, Willowbrook, and Sugar Land sites provide comprehensive stroke care with on-site 24/7 neurosurgery and neuro-endovascular capabilities
Responsibilities
- Hyperacute stroke management via Telestroke (TNK, ICH, LVO)
- Neuroimaging diagnostic and virtual stroke evaluation with time-critical care delivery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals across a system

Shift & Schedule
- Flexible Schedule: 160-180 shifts
- Hours: 4pm-7am
- 7a-7a weekends/holidays
Requirements
- Completed Neurology residency
- Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology with exposure to Telestroke/Teleneurology
- Eligible for a Texas medical license or currently hold a Texas medical license in good standing
- Strong interests in academic missions, including high-quality clinical care, education, and research
- Candidates must reside in TX, LA, FL, TN or WA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced virtual care skills
- Ability to work well in a team
