Telecommunications SpecialistThe Telecommunications Specialist reports to the VP of Technology running Network Operations and Technology Logistics to support Bill Payments and related tasks for Technology Suppliers, mainly around Internet Circuits. This position will own management and execution of NFP's Network Telecommunications and Contract Initiatives as they relate to Accounts Payable for all Telecommunications/Internet Suppliers and assist with the lifecycle management of Internet services. To add more detail, this role will manage, analyze, and support all telecommunications contracts and orders, manage documentation relating to Internet Suppliers, their payments, and their lifecycle.

Candidates with a background in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms and vendor portals will thrive in this role. It is imperative for the candidate for this position to be able to communicate effectively with peers and suppliers, ensuring good connectivity and financial hygiene for services under our management. This position will also be instrumental in supporting the migration of NFP Telecommunications AP from the current footing to the new systems coming online from our parent company.

This individual must bring steadfast and fastidious dedication to detail, professional communication, and a positive attitude always.Administrative RequirementsProven success in and knowledge of administration of bill payments and general bookkeeping principles.Expertise in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, WordExpertise in Vendor/Supplier relationship managementExpertise in Accounts Payable principles and conceptsExperience in Telecom Supplier ManagementDaily ResponsibilitiesMatching invoices to charges to satisfy Compliance requirementsMaintain and optimize telecom asset inventories across multiple platformsManage MACD (Move, Add, Change, Disconnect) requests with vendors.Work with Network, Facilities, and Commercial Real Estate teams to Conduct audits of Internet services to identify cost-saving opportunities.Other duties as assigned or requiredAdministrative Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong ability to organize and manage multiple tasks utilizing effective time management skillsStrong ability and active commitment to follow through on assigned tasks/projects with minimal supervisionWorks effectively with all levels of internal technology team, end-users, and management as well as 3rd party partners, suppliers, and vendorsProfessional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong customer service focusCompetent ownership of projects, initiatives, and workflows relevant to the positionStrong commitment and understanding of Business EthicsValid Driver's LicenseCheerful disposition and demeanorEducation and ExperienceGeneral Accounting experience preferredExperience in AP, billing, and supplier/vendor management 5 years or greater experience would be a plusSpecialization in TEM platforms or concepts of Telecom Expense Management would be a plusProficiency in platforms such as Tangoe, Coupa, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Workday, Lawson / Infor would be a plus
