Telecommunications Project LeadCandidate must reside in one of the following states: AZ, AL, CO, GA, FL, OH, TN, TX, or VA. If located within 50 miles of an office they will be required to be a HYBRID employee working 2 days per week onsite. The Telecommunications Project Lead works on various projects as assigned by a Department Manager or Lead Engineer.This position will play a role in the entire design process including but not limited to:Preliminary assessmentsConcept creationLeading designs with support from your peers, SME's, and BIM designersInternal and external problem resolutionDrawing and specification productionCustomer and vendor accessibility.The telecommunication project lead may work on several concurrent projects and will be responsible to ensure that projects are completed on time. As a telecommunication project lead, you'll provide technical design leadership of systems for data center buildings which include structured cabling systems, wireless, audio visual, and other low voltage systems.Responsibilities Include:Leading the BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawingsDIV 27 specification creation, or modification.Conduct site visitsReview technical documentsYou will also learn from more senior team leaders and will be mentored.Managing the relationship with internal and external stakeholders.Responding to RFI's, Submittals, and Substitution requestsRequirements:Technical or associate's degree from an accredited institutionCurrent RCDD CredentialsMinimum 4 years' experience actively designing and leading designs for Telecommunications structured cabling systems.Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standardsThorough knowledge of NFPA 70 and how it applies to telecommunications structured cabling systems.Familiarity working with NavisworksFamiliarity with responding to RFP'sExperienced in creating a budget for a project.Experienced in creating and maintaining a project scheduleExperienced in identifying and mitigating company riskSelf-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clientsExcellent project management skills.Ideally, You'll Also Have:Electrical Engineering degree, or related discipline.Experience installing telecommunications systems.Experience reading and analyzing test results for telecommunications systems.Experience troubleshooting issues during installation of telecommunications systems.Experience working on other low voltages systems which include:SecurityAudio/VisualWireless
