Join our team and create the future of telecommunications networks for our client.ResponsibilitiesAs a Telecommunications Engineer on our team, you'll:Work with vendors to design and develop systemsMonitor the evolution of these systemsBroaden your skill set into areas like telecommunicationsMerge engineering and project management to drive our customers' mission forwardRequirementsExperience working as a telecommunications engineerExperience in architecting and designing complex systemsExperience with network technology, components, systems, and vendorsExperience developing and implementing test plans and procedures, and reviewing changes and operations of network systemsExperience with routed and switched networks, network management, and network control systemsExperience in technical and project management, supporting Information Technology (IT) projects or programs, including risk, cost, schedule, and performanceAbility to develop requirements and technical solutionsAbility to research and resolve issues in systems implementations and configurationsPreferred RequirementsExperience with global networking and regional solutioningExperience with telecom service provider engagementExperience in technical engineering leadership roles, including leading technically varied teams for successful deliveries on complex engineering programs to support products, services, and operationsExperience with cloud engineeringKnowledge of optical transport networksKnowledge of additional communications systems technologies, including optical, voice, automation, or orchestration toolsAbility to work successfully as a part of a matrixed teamEducation/Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with network technologies, or 12+ years of experience with network technologies in lieu of a degreeClearance RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
