Job Description

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to‑end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real‑estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way to navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey – before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.

The technology (tech) strategy practice is seeking a Manager to join a dynamic, technology‑driven team. Your contributions will have tangible impact on the world around us.

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and transformation workstreams for clients across business, operating model, and growth priorities.
  • Develop fact‑based analyses, business cases, and strategic recommendations using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Manage day‑to‑day client interactions, project plans, deliverables, and team coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Synthesize findings into executive‑level presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership decision‑making.
  • Coach junior team members and drive quality, consistency, and timely delivery across workstreams.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business transformation, or enterprise change initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience leading project workstreams, deliverables, and junior team members.
  • 3+ years of experience developing executive‑level presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative analysis to support business decisions.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, on average, based on work and client needs.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred

  • Master of Business Administration.
  • 6+ years of experience serving Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
  • Experience supporting growth strategy, operating model design, or transformation program delivery.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, leadership meetings, or decision sessions.
  • Experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, or market assessment.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams in a consulting environment.

Benefits

The wage range for this role is $155,600 to $306,800, based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and business needs. Eligible participants may also join a discretionary annual incentive program, with awards depending on individual and organizational performance.
