Role
Zions Bancorporation is hiring a Technology Product Manager for its Innovation Lab to build prototypes, run experiments, and advance proof-of-concepts toward scalable products. The role leads cross-functional squads, owns the product lifecycle and roadmap, and communicates progress to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Vibe code and prototype new technologies and convert prototypes into functioning products.
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of innovation initiatives and proofs-of-concept.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, business units, and external partners to develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
- Lead multidisciplinary squads in an experimental environment, delivering iteratively using Agile methodologies.
- Create product requirements (PRDs/user stories), define MVP scope, success metrics, and release plans.
- Track, analyze, and communicate product KPIs and experiment results to iterate and identify opportunities.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to new technologies and product-market fit.
- Interact directly with senior leadership and executive sponsors; mentor and train junior staff as needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience focused on technology, innovation, or software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Extensive vibe coding and prototyping experience.
- Experience with AI and integrating emerging technologies into product offerings.
- Expert knowledge of product management practices (Agile, Lean Startup, customer discovery) and experience defining PRDs/user stories and KPIs.
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, customer empathy, prioritization, negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous, experimental environment.
Work Location
