Technology Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days onsite required)

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Angular and front-end development (UI)
• Prior experience managing development teams as a Technology Manager , Engineering Manager , or similar management role
• Strong background in enterprise application development with Angular and Java
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions , design reviews , and technical strategy initiatives
• Excellent communication , stakeholder management , mentorship and Agile delivery experience

Nice to Have Requirements

• Banking or financial services experience
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Microservices and modern application architecture experience
• CI/CD and DevOps exposure
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications

Job Description

We are seeking a Technology Manager to provide technical and people leadership for a team delivering enterprise-scale digital applications within a large financial services environment. This individual will oversee engineering efforts, drive architectural decisions, mentor developers, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital solutions.

The ideal candidate comes from a strong Angular front-end engineering background with a solid understanding of Java-based enterprise applications. While this position is leadership-focused rather than hands-on coding, candidates must remain technically credible, capable of guiding engineering best practices, influencing technical strategy, and supporting critical modernization initiatives across the organization.

Compensation

$70/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
