Technology Infrastructure Project ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Infrastructure Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex technology infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver initiatives spanning servers, storage, cloud, networking, and data center operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong delivery leadership and deep familiarity with enterprise infrastructure environments, partnering with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle delivery of technology infrastructure projects, including initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and transition to operationsDevelop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocationsOversee infrastructure builds, environment setup, cloud provisioning, migration activities, and implementation cutoversDrive day to day coordination across engineering teams (cloud, network, storage, compute, database, middleware, security, etc.)Track and report status, risks, issues, mitigations, and decisions to stakeholders and leadershipMaintain project documentation and compliance with PMO and CIO governance frameworksManage project budgets, forecasts, vendor spend, and financial trackingIdentify, track, and mitigate infrastructure related risks, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and constraintsEnsure adherence to regulatory, security, architecture, and operational standardsPartner with CIO teams, engineering managers, architecture, cybersecurity, operations, and business stakeholdersManage vendor engagement, SOWs, deliverables, and on time performanceUnderstand technical designs, architecture diagrams, and platform requirements to drive project alignmentCoordinate testing activities (integration, performance, failover, UAT) with engineering and QA teamsRequirements:Strong Project Management SkillsAgile Scrum Master SkillsWaterfall Delivery MethodsMS Project, MS Excel and MS PowerPointEducational background and experience in project management or business management or associated areaAbility to work with others and manage disparate teams globallyAbility to manage the successful execution of technical solutions whether by a single team or multiple teamsA proven track record in a similar roleGood interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexibleMust be able to face off to business and technology leadersStrong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguityKeen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability for workMust be a self-starter and have the ability to work with little to no supervisionDesired skills:Experience delivering large scale, complex technology projects within enterprise environmentsHands on Jira expertise for tracking, reporting, and managing technical workstreamsStrong passion for technology, infrastructure, and banking operationsAbility to perform extensive data analysis and create clear, executive quality presentationsBackground in infrastructure delivery projects, including servers, storage, network, cloud, and related platformsExperience managing matrix resourcesPay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
