Infrastructure EngineerThis position is for an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in architecting and deploying enterprise monitoring solutions for the firm’s compute and network platforms. This is a hands-on role working with both open source and commercial software solutions, along with developing code to integrate these solutions with parts of the enterprise ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and support efficient monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environmentIdentify improvements that can be made in the current infrastructure tools, alerts, and processesWork collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver business goalsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion, NetScout, or Prometheus3+ years of experience in development using languages such as Golang, Java, or PythonExperience with Linux and Windows administrationUnderstanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizationsPreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge working with and managing Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit)Experience using messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQRequired Software/Technology:SolarWinds Orion, NetScout, or PrometheusGolang, Java, or PythonLinuxWindowsPreferred Software/Technology:Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit)Apache Kafka or IBM MQ
