Technology Data Solutions Engineer - Assistant Vice PresidentSalt Lake City, Utah, United StatesAbout the RoleiCapital is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer Assistant Vice President to join the Post-Investment Technology team. This role will work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on one or more of iCapital's software platforms. This individual will partner closely with the Product Management team throughout the software development process, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found in manual test efforts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop web applications using TypeScript for the front end and Python for the back end.Demonstrate a strong grasp of system design, architecture, and trade-offs while mentoring junior engineers.Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.Contribute to daily stand-up meetings.Engage in peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC and change management processes.Qualifications7+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions5+ years of Python development experience5+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScriptTechnical leadership and management experience is a plusDemonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practicesFamiliar with cloud-based technologies (i.e.
K8S and AWS)Able to work in an Agile or Kanban methodologyAble to work independently or as part of a group effort, as requiredStrong problem-solving abilityExcellent communication skillsCollaborative approach to software developmentBenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
