JOB DESCRIPTION
Technologist
Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment. o Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities. o ssists with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications. o Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.o Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specificationso Provides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedureso Provides support to the lead/supervisor when necessaryo Provides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiencyo Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)o Must follow all Client housekeeping policies and procedureso Must follow all Client safety policies and procedureso Must be able to work overtime as required to meet Client business requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Education/Experience:o High School degree required with 2 years relevant experience in a regulated environment required. Will consider Associate's degree with a scientific degree and no experience.
Basic Skills: o bility to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skillso Must be detail-orientedo Strong time management skills requiredo bility to operate independently
