What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage truck inventory
  • Follow all safety standards and company procedures
What You Bring
  • HVAC service experience in residential or commercial applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience using electrical and refrigeration diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions
  • Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
  • Install replacement components and perform system repairs as needed
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Verify proper system operation and performance after repairs
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation
  • Manage vehicle inventory and ensure necessary parts are stocked
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service solutions
  • Follow all company safety policies and industry standards
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC operating principles
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, including multimeters, ohmmeters, and pressure gauges
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA Certification
  • NATE Certification
  • Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Experience with refrigeration systems
  • Welding and fabrication experience
