POSITION SUMMARY:
The Remediation Technician is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to build a career in the restoration industry. This position works alongside experienced technicians and leaders to learn the fundamentals of mold remediation, demolition, and job site operations.
The technician supports day-to-day activities on job sites while developing the skills necessary to perform restoration work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Site Tasks
* Perform assigned restoration tasks as directed by technicians or supervisors
* Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area
SOP & Safety Compliance
* Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
Demolition Assistance
* Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision using hand and power tools
* Remove debris and prepare affected areas for restoration work
Equipment Handling
* Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
* Assist with setting up and breaking down drying equipment as instructed
Warehouse & Vehicle Maintenance
* Clean and organize company vehicles, tools, and equipment
* Ensure all materials are properly stored and ready for use
Customer Presence
* Maintain a professional appearance and respectful behavior on job sites
* Follow direction when interacting with customers
