Job Overviewnn$1000 sign-on bonusnnBuild upper level assemblies and/or sub-assemblies used in microprocessor based systems. Modify standard communications equipment and fabricate custom equipment to meet the customer's special requirements.nnA Day In The LifennPrimary: Manufacture upper level assemblies and/or sub-assemblies used in microprocessor based systems:nnassemble components used to make sub-assemblies;ninstall panels upper level sub-assemblies;nassemble access panels;nperform detailed wiring.nnSecondary: Fabricate and/or modify products:nnpage/party stations;nprinted circuit boards;ncable assemblies;nwiring harnesses;nwire wrap boards;nrelay panels;ncabinet sub-assemblies;ncabinet assembly.nnCorrect problems arising during fabrication and/or final testing of equipment.nLay out and fabricate custom metal work.nProvide support/training to Technicians I, as needed.nReview all documentation for potential errors and omissions.nOther duties as assignednnWhat will help you thrive in this role?nnHigh school diploma or equivalent.nFive plus years of assembly experience and ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams.nGAI-Tronics product knowledge helpful.nnPhysical Requirements:nnAbility to lift 35 lbs. ;nMust be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors.nnPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
