We encourage active participation in safety improvement processes/activities such as hazard identification, safety suggestions, safety teams, etc.What We Are Looking For:SafetyFollows plant safety procedures and guidelinesKnow emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredUnderstands and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out proceduresInforms supervisors of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediatelyTaskTesting and visually inspects machinery and equipmentTroubleshooting machinery and equipmentDismantling of defective machines and equipment and installation of new or repaired partsCleaning and/or lubricating of shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machineryInstalling and repairing of electrical apparatus as determined by training and skill set of technicianPerforms the following type of maintenance activities: Advanced electrical work, facility repairs, hydraulic, pneumatic and pump repairs and maintenance, basic to advanced HVAC, masonry, carpentry and plumbing, and basic to advanced PLCFollow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP'sQualifications3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumaticAdvanced computer skillsAdvanced electrical abilityAdvanced programmingMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishTwo-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
