Technician AssociateThe Musco Services Team has an opening for a Technician Associate. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you! This position will be responsible for learning Musco systems and services associated with all aspects of Musco field work, to develop skills and focus on path to future Musco services roles. They will entail the safe operation of all equipment while working on field service or temporary lighting projects to meet the completion plans of the project as detailed by logistics supervisor.

More details about the role are below.Job is based out of Iowa, but extensive travel (220-240 days per year) is required throughout the U.S. and, at times, abroad. Some working days in Oskaloosa will be required.Essential Criteria:Excellent technical and problem solving abilityBasic electrical and mechanical aptitude is preferredExcellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skillsStrong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervisionBasic computer, email, and internet skills for receiving work instructions and job reportingAbility to learn internal communication systemMust pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background checkRoles and Responsibilities:Drive and operate different types of equipment at lighting projects, including, but not limited to fork lifts, aerial man lifts, all terrain forklifts, generators, non-CDL vehicles and rental carsPerform field service work, which will require working in aerial lifts, climbing poles, or in catwalk access locations at heightsLearn all different aspects of Musco products and services provided to lend toward future services rolesPerform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspection of equipment and productsCoordinate time frames for projects with customers, vendors, equipment and people resources for assigned projectsMaintain consistent communication with Field Logistics Supervisor regarding daily work duties and schedulesProvide detailed written field reports and completion of required paperwork within one week of project or assignment of paperworkWork on crews on individually at Musco projects that could include, temporary lighting, warranty related efforts of Musco's metal halide, LED or control-link productsMake solid daily expense related decisionsWho is Musco:For more than 50 years, Musco has specialized in sports and large-area lighting and technology, providing innovative solutions for projects in more than 135 countries.
