RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist | Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis (DOEOP ) Prepares reports, summaries, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Align with Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area initiatives as a Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist that Develop publication-quality materials, such as reports, briefs, and memoranda, to convey analytical results to stakeholders. Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including reports, manuals, presentations, and other materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy for diverse audiences.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract and articulate complex technical concepts into reader-friendly content.Develop templates, style guides, and content standards to ensure consistency across all documentation projects.Conduct regular reviews of documentation to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.Manage document repositories and version control systems to ensure proper organization, accessibility, and traceability of all materials.Conduct in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist | Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis (DOEOP ) (DOEOP ) Candidates:Proven expertise in technical writing and documentation management in scientific, engineering, or policy-driven environments.
