Supporting the underwriting of contingency risks, the full-time Technical Underwriter, Contingency will assist with risk analysis, policy administration, and broker service while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Assist in underwriting new and renewal business by evaluating submissions and developing an understanding of pricing methodologies Maintain and analyze underwriting data structures to identify risk trends and support business planning with structured reports Build positive relationships with brokers and internal partners, responding to inquiries and resolving underwriting or policy servicing questions Required Qualifications 1-3 years in an analytical, underwriting, actuarial support, or insurance operations role Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience Experience with relational databases (SQL) to analyze large datasets Familiarity with data-driven logic or scripting languages for predictive modeling Eagerness to learn and develop a career in specialty underwriting
