Position Summary
Fusion Innovation is seeking a Senior Technical Targeter to support technical targeting and all-source intelligence analysis. The successful candidate will analyze complex information from internal and external sources to identify significant trends, relationships, and areas of interest, translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations that support mission objectives. This role requires substantial technical targeting experience, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to develop targeting plans and operational approaches. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders, identify information gaps, and communicate findings clearly to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop targeting plans and operational approaches informed by technical information, all-source analysis, and mission priorities.
- Conduct in-depth all-source intelligence analysis to identify key insights, emerging trends, relationships, and areas of interest.
- Evaluate and synthesize complex data from internal and external sources to support targeting efforts and strategic recommendations.
- Identify and communicate critical linkages, analytical findings, and potential opportunities to leadership.
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify information needs, identify collection and analytical gaps, and recommend approaches to address them.
- Draft and coordinate reports, briefings, and other communication products that document findings and support decision-making.
- Use open-source, government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools to organize, manage, analyze, and visualize technical information.
- Apply social network analysis techniques and tools such as Tableau and Analyst’s Notebook to identify connections and present complex information.
- Refine targeting recommendations as new information becomes available and mission priorities evolve.
