Cable TechnicianLocation: South Bend, INSchedule: Night shiftOur Infrastructure team is responsible for day-to-day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work, and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices.Key job responsibilities:Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect and troubleshoot cablingInstallation and maintenance of copper and fiber cable infrastructureInstall, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cordsEnsure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practicesReport current status via ticketing system, status reports, email, and slackManage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projectsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
