If you are A/V industry knowledgeable, service-oriented, and ready to leave field work behind for a unique opportunity, please see below for what we are looking for from you:Here's what you'll get to do:Answer incoming calls from customers and help troubleshoot complex systems.Interact with A/V Field Service Technicians, to provide technical support with:Audio/visual systems distribution in commercial and residential environmentsNetworked AV-over-IP systemsHDMI and HDBaseT signal distributionVideo walls and signage systemsHDMI testing and troubleshooting equipmentControl systems, including RTI, Control 4, Crestron, Elan, Q-Sys, Savant and othersWork toward pulling information together to deliver a solution to customersRefer concerns about product or service failure to appropriate personnel for examinationOccasionally travel to client locations providing technical solutionsOccasional trade show attendance, such as CEDIA and InfoCommThis is what we're looking for:Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasksCustomer service orientedA positive, collaborative attitudeBe strongly motivated to acquire new industry knowledgeEnjoy problem-solving and assisting others to arrive at solutionsAVoIP/Dante Networking background or experience with networks, switches, and configurationsSignificant A/V experience in troubleshooting; elements of system design, using matrix switchers, AV-over-IP systems, and HDMI point-to-point signal distribution devicesUnderstanding of EDID management and content protectionHDMI test equipment experienceKnowledge of control systems such as RTI, Control 4, Crestron, QYS, and others, including programming and troubleshooting firmware/software issuesCTS, ANP, ISF, HAA, IST, CIT, or similar accreditationsExperience or accreditation in the following are a plus but not required:What we offer:Paid leave benefitsGroup health & life insuranceEmployer paid benefits including dental and vision insurance401K (4% match)Supplemental insuranceHours/Pay: Full-time, Mondays through Fridays shifts range between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST (call volume varies and is often busier in late mornings and early evenings supporting West Coast callers).
