Technical Steward

Role

Technical Steward supporting advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies at Novartis, focusing on process excellence, tech implementation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• act as SPOC for global MS&T network and development teams
• serve as site expert in manufacturing process technologies, including pilot, scale-up, and DoE
• lead process optimization and process improvement initiatives
• support technology transfers, validation, and manufacturing readiness
• drive investigations, risk assessments, and root cause analyses
• provide technical training and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• BSc in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field
• minimum five years in oral solid dosage pharma manufacturing
• strong GMP, regulatory, and process understanding
• experience in process improvement, validation, and tech transfer
• analytical and problem-solving skills
• effective cross-functional communicator
