Technical SpecialistInterview: Video + Onsite This is hybrid from day-1 Visa: All apart from H1B and CPTDescription: A resource that understands networking technology and how Audio Visual works with it. Must have vast Cisco Webex experience along with setup of Webex Boards and all connectivity associated with that. The Technical Specialist is a senior-level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology. The Technical Specialist has an overall knowledge and understanding of Networking and Webex that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program. Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.

Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products. Able to identify best practices and standards for the use of the product. Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts. May function as a niche technical SME.

Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter. Proven experience with a technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems. Technology Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform technical analysis of the current "as-built" network/Webex infrastructureConduct feasibility studiesGather and define business, functional and technical requirements for Cisco Webex Infrastructure and softwarePerform data modeling, process modeling and prototyping, and create conceptual and detailed architecture/designs (network and security), detailed specifications, Webex infrastructure implementation plans, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product integration plansInstall, configure, integrate and test (all levels) IT infrastructure components/systems (custom and COTS)Provide IT infrastructure/systems support and transition knowledge to operations and maintenance support staffCreate technical documentation and training materialsPerform product/system research and reviewWork with the Senior Architect to assure continuity of planned technologiesReview technical documents produced by the Developer or other external sourcesPerform technical architecture and other deliverable reviews for large-scale projectsAssist with issue and risk managementAssist in any development and review of project management and technical documentationPerform tasks as assigned by the DHHS Project ManagerThe experience and skill sets needed are as follows:An in-depth understanding of distributed computing using N-tier, distributed processing, client/server, and Internet/intranet technologiesIn-depth knowledge of network infrastructures, Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2); video conferencing; firewalls, voice, data and unified communications (UCS)Experience with the implementation of both COTS and customized enterprise networksExperience developing technical and non-technical solutions for supporting business process reengineeringExperience acting as liaison between business and technical staffExperience developing/reviewing assessment toolsExperience with performing impact technical analysisStrong communication, interpersonal, presentation and interviewing/facilitation skillsAble to produce accurate and thorough technical documentationExperience with developing and reviewing technical requirements, designs and implementation plansThe Advanced Technology Specialist must have Technical Lead experience on large, complex automation/IT infrastructure implementation projectsCCNP, CCIE, Certified Cisco Specialist or equivalent experience is requiredEight (8) years experience is the minimum preferred for the proposed Advanced Technology SpecialistSkills:A resource that understands networking technology and how Audio Visual works with it. - Required - 72 MonthsMust have vast Cisco Webex experience along with setup of Webex Boards and all connectivity associated with that. - Required - 72 MonthsPerform technical analysis of the current "as-built" network/Webex infrastructure - Required - 72 MonthsGather and define business, functional and technical requirements for Cisco Webex Infrastructure and software.
