What You Will Do in This Role?

  • Lead and develop a team of Clinical Engineering professionals supporting healthcare customers throughout the Kansas City market
  • Create a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and customer service excellence
  • Drive operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and KPI management
  • Conduct customer business reviews and build strong executive-level relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to expand services, retain customers, and grow revenue
  • Manage budgets and P&L performance while ensuring operational efficiency
  • Implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience
  • Resolve customer and employee issues through effective communication and conflict management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures

What You Will Need for This Role?

  • Proven leadership experience managing service, biomedical, or clinical engineering teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare technology, or clinical engineering operations
  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, including experience using Excel and operational data to drive decisions
  • Customer-focused leader with experience conducting business reviews and building strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated success managing conflict, driving results, and leading through change

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supervising/managing medical service technicians or engineers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or equivalent military training required; MBA preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lift/push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel up to 30%
