What You Will Do in This Role?
- Lead and develop a team of Clinical Engineering professionals supporting healthcare customers throughout the Kansas City market
- Create a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and customer service excellence
- Drive operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and KPI management
- Conduct customer business reviews and build strong executive-level relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally to expand services, retain customers, and grow revenue
- Manage budgets and P&L performance while ensuring operational efficiency
- Implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience
- Resolve customer and employee issues through effective communication and conflict management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
What You Will Need for This Role?
- Proven leadership experience managing service, biomedical, or clinical engineering teams
- Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare technology, or clinical engineering operations
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, including experience using Excel and operational data to drive decisions
- Customer-focused leader with experience conducting business reviews and building strategic partnerships
- Demonstrated success managing conflict, driving results, and leading through change
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supervising/managing medical service technicians or engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or equivalent military training required; MBA preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lift/push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible schedules and travel up to 30%
