Join us in a role where your expertise can make a significant impact.About The RoleThis role is focused on delivering efficient and timely technical assistance to customers, ensuring their packaging equipment operates at peak performance. You will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving equipment issues, contributing to the overall improvement of customer packaging quality and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a safety leader, prioritizing safety in all responsibilities.Understand customer requirements related to products and equipment issues.Service customer equipment to maintain optimal performance of packaging films and shrink bag materials.Identify and communicate machinery and packaging film/shrink bag problems to appropriate staff.Maintain accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.Perform package/shrink bag and machine audits on packaging machines.Participate in field trials of new packaging materials.Assist in the installation and start-up of packaging equipment.Provide input into the design, installation, and start-up of packaging equipment from outside suppliers.Schedule own time and travel, determining priority of customer calls.Conduct training for customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment and film.Assist on projects and take the lead on smaller tasks within overall projects.Establish and maintain effective relations with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff.Complete KMS reporting, expense reports, and weekly schedules within designated time frames.Minimum RequirementsTechnical degree3-5 years of experience in the food packaging industry (materials & machinery)Willing to travel 60% or more and hold a valid driver's licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAt Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
