Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with experience in surface treatment, metal
finishing, plating, or specialty chemicals. This is an outside sales position focused on customer
development, account growth, and technical chemical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop new business within assigned territories.
• Identify and convert competitive accounts.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
• Work with purchasing managers, plant managers, engineers, and technical teams.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate chemical solutions.
• Coordinate product trials and evaluations.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Maintain CRM records and sales activity.
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
Required Skills
• 3 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Experience in industrial or specialty chemicals.
• Experience with surface treatment, metal finishing, plating, or related chemicals.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Established industry/customer relationships.
• Technical sales and consultative selling skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
Product Experience
Electroplating Chemicals, Anodizing Chemicals, Metal Cleaners, Pretreatment Chemicals, Passivation
Chemicals, Conversion Coatings, Corrosion Protection Products.
Preferred: Aerospace, automotive, electronics, or industrial manufacturing experience.
