We are hiring Technical Sales Representatives to promote and sell our products in these regions:Mid-Atlantic/Northeast USNew EnglandResearch Triangle Park, North CarolinaSouthern CaliforniaResponsibilities:Promote Flownamics' products and services utilizing all available sales tools (e.g., samples, papers, webinars, presentations, literature, product demos)Compile and maintain documentation of prospective users, including status of sales leads and opportunitiesTravel throughout the assigned territory calling on both existing and prospective usersRecord and document sales activities (e.g., phone calls, emails, visits) in the CRM databaseAnalyze market and competition; adapt strategies for changing conditionsDevelop and maintain relationships with usersPromptly manage a variety of user requests (e.g., deliveries, pricing, quality)First point of contact for sales leads and quote requestsIdentify new accounts using a variety of resources (e.g., industry databases, trade shows, e-leads)Develop action plans to increase awareness and drive sales for newly identified accountsAdvocate for the user and submit user feedback and requirementsCoordinate and participate in trade shows/webinars/conferences in assigned territoryRequirements:Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industrySales experience and/or user experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferredExperience in selling capital equipment and consumablesAt least 3 years of working in a user-facing role within the biopharma industry preferredProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) and CRM experienceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from users and colleaguesSolid communication and negotiation skillsAbility to travel up to 30%, including some overnight travel
