Job Description / Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the work of third‑party IT support personnel on‑site, ensuring service quality and compliance with IT policies and factory safety requirements.
- Serve as the primary on‑site IT contact for factory users and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination with remote/global IT teams across different domains (network, storage, applications, etc.).
- Handle urgent tier‑3 escalation with third‑party IT regarding network connectivity, servers, client systems, and production tools.
- Support day‑to‑day system operations, including user provisioning, hardware/software deployment, patch management, and incident resolution.
- Work closely with global teams to maintain and support factory systems, MES, ERP, and other critical applications.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and elevate to specialized teams when needed.
- Support and maintain Windows and Linux/Unix servers, ensuring system stability, performance, and security hardening.
- Participate in routine tasks such as OS patching, endpoint protection, system monitoring, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and participate in security‑related initiatives such as vulnerability remediation and endpoint management.
- Assist with IT asset management, documentation, and audit readiness for local factory systems.
