Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager (OSS) to lead the delivery and implementation of an Operational Support System within a complex, vendor-driven environment. This role goes beyond coordination—you will actively drive deliverables, resolve blockers, manage acceptance processes, and contribute to technical workstreams.You will serve as a critical link between internal cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations, service delivery, and network operations) and external partners.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with program delivery and technical depth, able to interpret architecture documents, support testing activities, and ensure successful execution across all project milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive delivery obligations across all OSS program milestonesMaintain implementation plans and critical path tracking, identifying and resolving risks proactivelyManage deliverable acceptance processes, including review coordination and formal sign-offsLead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, validation of acceptance criteria, coordination, and final approvalsServe as the primary operational interface with external vendors and partnersIdentify scope gaps and manage change requests through appropriate review and approval workflowsMonitor service level commitments and initiate escalation when neededReview technical deliverables to ensure alignment with functional and operational requirementsCoordinate infrastructure readiness activities with internal technical teamsSupport data validation activities, including KPI definitions, configuration baselines, and monitoring thresholdsContribute to requirements gathering, use case documentation, and acceptance criteria developmentIdentify integration dependencies and mitigate risks impacting delivery timelinesMaintain program documentation, including decision logs, meeting notes, action trackers, and status reportsManage delivery tracking tools and ensure visibility into progress across workstreamsEnsure knowledge capture and documentation completeness across the program lifecycleQualificationsEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceExperienceA minimum of 5+ years managing complex software or network infrastructure programsExperience working with vendor-delivered projects, including milestone tracking, acceptance workflows, and SLA managementPrior technical experience (e.g., software engineering, systems engineering, network operations) is highly valuedFamiliarity with OSS domains such as Fault Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management, Inventory, and ProvisioningUnderstanding of contract frameworks, change management processes, and service delivery governanceWorking knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD conceptsExperience with project tracking and collaboration toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in telecommunications or large-scale network environmentsFamiliarity with industry frameworks (e.g., TM Forum standards)Exposure to OSS/NMS platforms or monitoring systemsExperience supporting system integrations and API-driven architecturesSoft SkillsStrong ownership mindset with a proactive, results-driven approachProven ability to manage multiple priorities and track commitments with precisionExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills across cross-functional teamsClear and confident written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build structure and clarity in evolving or ambiguous environmentsComfort engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTechnology StackProject & Program Management: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or similar toolsOSS/NMS Platforms: Familiarity with industry-standard systemsCloud & Infrastructure: AWS (working knowledge), Kubernetes (basic understanding), CI/CD conceptsIntegration & APIs: REST APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging systemsObservability Tools: Monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., Grafana, ELK, or similar)Documentation & Diagramming: Confluence, diagramming toolsVersion Control: Git (basic knowledge)Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a standard office or remote environment and use a computer for extended periodsAbility to participate in occasional after-hours support or incident response activitiesThis job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
