Technical Program Manager IILocation: Redmond, WA OR Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 12+ monthsMeta Reality Labs Silicon Technical Program Management team is looking for a detail-oriented, high-energy Technical Program Manager to drive Silicon development programs. This role will require a self-driven individual with outstanding communication skills to manage Silicon and Hardware vendors to deliver material for complex builds on schedule. This position will work with cross-functional teams to consolidate internal material requirements and communicate them with vendor partners.Specific responsibilities include:Manage Silicon vendors to deliver material for Engineering proto buildsCreate Engineering build matrix, schedule and scope and drive vendor to deliverCollaborate with Engineering leads to resolve technical, material and schedule issues and drive mitigation strategiesScope change requests and drive team to approve/rejectDrive communication between internal and external teams.
Set up communication infrastructure (Jira, Gdrive) between internal/external vendors. Drive weekly meetings, setting agenda and recording meeting minutesManage internal and external documentation including Engineering Requirement Specs, Bill of Materials, Engineering collaterals (design files)Track Engineering budget spend and ensure alignment with budget forecastWork with legal and business teams to ensure proper TPA/NDA agreements are in place to ramp up new vendorsManagement of silicon material builds for Engineering builds on New Product Introduction (NPI) productsTrack wafers as they flow from the foundry through to downstream teamsWork with different engineering teams to provide sample forecastsDrive vendors to deliver the requested material in a timely mannerEnsure smooth flow of material vital to meet the validation requirements and schedulesReport and implement delivery schedules, materials and build matrix detailsHandle and rebound from critical issues that might stem from Engineering change, material shortage or schedule slipsReport on material progress and investigate material blocker issuesPlay a key role in the allocation of material in case of shortagesAnticipate potential issues that may arise and communicate to relevant teams to jump-start mitigation pathsAct as the point of contact for with internal and external key stakeholdersHost, attend and present at meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor partnersAssist the team with PO generation and approvalsEnsure PO deliverables are completed and invoices are paid on a timely basisAssist with lab equipment delivery and set upQualifications:Bachelors degree or 4+ years of relevant experienceDemonstrated leadership skills and adept at driving multi-functional teamsHardware/Silicon material management experience is a plusTop-notch critical thinking skill set; big picture program understanding and detailsExperience managing, prioritizing and maintaining multiple projects at a timeDetail oriented to ensure accuracy of all data, status and reportsExcellent communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to react to changes in a time sensitive environmentAbility to work with overseas vendors across Europe and Asia time zonesAbility to operate in fast paced situationsA Self-starter who can function with ambiguityExperience with Gsuite tools (Sheet, Docs, Slides, Drive)
