Technical Project ManagerWe are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate Data & Analytics Initiatives. This role will manage delivery of Data & Analytics Initiatives like Enterprise Reporting / Power BI dashboard delivery while also driving the planning and execution of the SAP HANA Sidecar / ODS migration to SAP BDC.The ideal candidate has enough technical depth to understand data platform dependencies, reporting delivery, integrations, security, data quality, and SAP-related impacts, while also being able to communicate clearly with executives, business stakeholders, internal BT teams, and external vendors.Responsibilities Include:Project Planning & Delivery Management Build and manage integrated project plans across discovery, design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, hyper care, and transition to support.Manage phased delivery plans for Enterprise Reporting dashboards and SAP BDC migration workstreams.Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, issues, decisions, action items, owners, and due dates.Ensure business, BT, architecture, data engineering, security, vendor, testing, rollout, and support activities are connected in one integrated plan.Prepare clear weekly status reporting and develop and lead Steering Committee meetings for BT leadership and business stakeholders, including scope, budget, schedule, risks, mitigation plans, and key decisions needed.Enterprise Reporting Delivery Coordinate phased delivery of Power BI dashboards and governed reporting capabilities across Store Operations, Merchandising, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and other business functions.Manage dashboard scopes such as Sales Overview, Merchandising Overview, Shrink, Margin, OPP, Landing Page, Out-of-Stock / Zero Sales, Missing Sales, and other future reporting phases.Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to confirm reporting priorities, requirements, KPI definitions, UAT scope, rollout plans, and acceptance criteria.Manage UAT planning, defect triage, issue resolution, readiness tracking, go-live coordination, training coordination, and hyper care.Support decommissioning or consolidation of legacy reports to reduce duplicate reporting, inconsistent definitions, and manual reporting effort.SAP BDC / Data Platform Migration Manage the BDC assessment and migration planning process, including current-state discovery, target architecture, replication strategy, phased migration roadmap, effort estimates, risks, and executive recommendations.Drive Phase Wise Delivery of SAP HANA Side CAR Migration with integration within application areas.Track data quality, access approvals, environment readiness, integration dependencies, architecture decisions, and migration risks.Governance, Vendor Management & Communication Coordinate work across internal BT teams, business SMEs, architecture, data engineering, application, products, security, QA, and external partners.Hold vendors accountable for deliverables, timelines, quality, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.Facilitate project meetings, technical working sessions, leadership updates, risk reviews, and decision discussions.Translate technical risks and issues into clear business impacts, recommended options, and decisions needed from leadership.Maintain project artifacts such as project charters, RAID logs, dependency trackers, UAT plans, deployment checklists, hyper care plans, vendor deliverable trackers, and executive-ready updates.Educational requirements, years of work experience, technical skills, competencies required, etc.5-7 years of project management experience, including strong experience managing technical, data, analytics, reporting, integration, or platform migration projects.Experience managing Data & Analytics & Master Data Management Initiative.Strong understanding of data delivery concepts, including batch, near real-time, real-time feeds, data models, semantic layers, data quality, data governance, role-based access, and security controls.Experience with Delivery Projects in SAP-related data landscapes such as SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud or comparable enterprise data platforms or any other Data Platform stacks like Databricks, snowflake & Big QueryExperience managing Power BI or similar enterprise dashboard delivery.Strong vendor management experience, including managing multiple external delivery partners and holding technical teams accountable.Ability to manage complex dependencies across business teams, technical teams, architecture, data engineering, QA, security, support, and vendors.Strong executive communication skills with the ability to create concise project updates, risk summaries, mitigation plans, and leadership-ready materials.Strong meeting facilitation, follow-up, documentation, and accountability management skills.Preferred Experience Retail, grocery, store operations, supply chain, merchandising, purchasing, planning, or finance experience.Experiencing Managing Data & Analytics Project or SAP Analytics Project or Master Data Management ProjectsExperience delivering enterprise reporting programs across multiple business functions and user groups.Experience managing phased migration projects or platform modernization initiatives.Experience with UAT, defect triage, go-live readiness, hyper care, change readiness, and operational transition.Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery methods and tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, SharePoint, or Clarizen.
