Project ManagerAn experienced Project Manager excited to join our team in supporting a government client in Alexandria, Virginia. You will be responsible for managing projects related to information technology infrastructure; will be required to plan and manage development schedules; work closely with the federal lead & design teams; and communicate timely status/progress to multiple stakeholders.Responsibilities:Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as Project Management Plans, Business Cases, ROMs, LOEs, and Project Scope documentsLeverage support from all levels of leadership (including Executive Management)Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetCoordinate resource availability and allocationDevelop detailed project schedules to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededSuccessfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksOversee project development cycle, which includes planning, testing, and deployment activitiesIdentify system needs, forecast system requirements, and provide recommendations and priorities for improvements and alternativesProvide technical guidance to client managers and staff to ensure appropriate resources, communication and processes are in placeParticipate in the Change Control Board (CCB) and monitor program/system owner compliance with the Change Management Plan and CharterEnsure that all project goals are accomplished according to specifications and business objectivesRequired Experience/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft ProjectDemonstrated ability to develop comprehensive project schedulesExperience managing projects in one or more technical areas such as Cloud, Networking, Virtual Desktops, Mobile Device Management, Systems Administration (Unix, Linux, etc.), Database (Sybase, Oracle, Postgres, etc.).
