Technical Program Manager/Product Quality ManagerLocation: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)Duration: 12 months contract with possible extensionPay rate: $75-80/hr on W2 plus benefitsKey QualificationsAt least 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineeringBackground in manufacturing in electronics, more specifically in assemblyAbility to inspect the quality of suppliers/conduct failure analysisDetail oriented and able to get caught up to speed on their ownStrong understanding of what is happening in a factory locationTravel likely once per quarterExcellent project management skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage OEM factoriesDemonstrated ability to work within a matrix organizationExperience in managing a product from early development builds through steady state productionExperience in developing factory infrastructure requirements, process flows, end-to-end factory layout, setting equipment requirementsDirect experience in developing processes, tools and equipment for final assemblyExperience in performing DFM/DFT, Tolerance Analysis, DOE, Statistical Analysis, Statistical Process ControlFunctional understanding of surface mount technology and data center hardware is a plusJMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience is a plusDescription of ResponsibilitiesTechnical lead for manufacturing operations at multiple vendors and production sitesDriving contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production buildsProduction process development, documentation, optimization and validationLeads development of production equipment and fixturing in conjunction with CMs and equipment vendorsLeads DFM analysis and works in conjunction with HW engineering in optimizing the designManages development builds and production rampWorks all phases of a product from concept to repeat manufacturing to end of lifeGenerates Product Quality Plan (PQP) across supply chain (component suppliers to FATP)Manages quality across the supply chain and leads root cause analysis and corrective actionsWorks with customer teams on tracking in-the-field failures/RMAs and drives corrective actionsManages weekly tech ops and quality updatesRequires travel to factories in Asia and North America (~25% of the time)
