Technical Program Manager (Portal Development & Deployment)Rate: $ 60/ hour Job Location: Philadelphia, PA-F2F REQUIREDEcommerce portal Development Scope: This managerial role will be to coordinate and supervise deployment continuity between a variety of portal deployment efforts associated with core Comcast Business service POR & Life Cycle programs as well as alternate revenue generation stream deployment initiatives (i.e. Cloud Solutions SaaS software sales & support) and how they relate to core systems (SE, PE and OSS) and respective stakeholder functional teams (Sales, Care, Operations). The manager will act as a liaison, resource and conduit between other Core teams (inc. Deployment team members, Product Management, BSD SE & PE systems members & stakeholder functional group leaders) and their counterparts within the web front end & New Business development teams (inc.
Business Class Portal (BCP) front end team & the Business Services eCommerce team (BSEE) ensuring holistic development and deployment activities). The manager will be a problem solver in the resolution of complex problems or driving cohesion between disparate teams on larger project initiatives. Coordinates among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products get to market per specifications, within budget, and on schedule. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees.
Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development of, and meeting of, departmental budget.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch new services, features and enhancements on time and within budget.Translates product requirements (PID = Product Introduction Documents) into a complete team vetting exercise generating a comprehensive project plan to manage the program from start to finish.Monitors expenditures for products in relation to budget. Evaluates front end technology team plans (BCP & BSEE) as they pertain to PID requirements.Develops detailed product features, feature groups and requirements, and develops implementation plans especially as it pertains to self-sell eCommerce needs and self-service portal feature and account capabilities.A dependency driven project plan will be the tool this individual will be tasked to generate and evolve throughout the project deployment process. - Accountable for BCP/BSEE budget management for assigned products.
- Coordinates the product planning and scheduling process across back end systems and front end systems schedules and assists in ascertaining project priority to maximize deployment efficiencies.Maintains reporting congruity in Rally (selected system for Feature and User Story progress tracking)Manages, gathers, analyzes & reports on KPI data for product lines including channels of acquisition (web based delivery metrics, program issues & risks, utilization and performance data primarily).Skills:Senior Technical Program Management backgroundWeb Savvy with extensive experience in Portal development and deployment.Type of Assignment: Contract through end of year, if performance is solid will extend for all of 2017
