Technical Product Manager (Data & Analytics)

New York, NY

Hybrid – 3 days in office

$130,000 – $150,000

This organization is a recognized leader in its field, using technology to drive operational excellence and improve outcomes at scale. The technology team plays a central role in supporting strategic goals, working across departments to deliver cutting-edge tools, infrastructure, and insights.

The Role:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery—aligning business objectives with technical execution. You will be the bridge between data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of enterprise-scale data projects. Your day-to-day will include demand management, sprint planning, resource coordination, and clear, consistent communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the project intake process for data initiatives
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Lead sprint planning and manage team backlogs
• Track progress using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
• Communicate risks, blockers, and updates to senior leadership
• Drive alignment across cross-functional tech and business teams
• Ensure projects adhere to governance and data architecture standards

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years' experience in project management, ideally in data or analytics environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience leading technical projects in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), and BI tools
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar
• PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
