Technical Product ManagerBilt is the membership for where you live. What started as a way to reward people on their largest expense has turned into an ecosystem connecting our members, property managers and local merchants. Travel, dining, fitness, everyday spend. We are building systems across payments, credit, loyalty, and commerce all at once. We run lean and move quickly.
Every person here has a real impact on what gets built and how fast it happens. This role comes with real ownership and high expectations. If you prefer clearly defined lanes and structure, this will feel uncomfortable. If you want to build quickly, have a real say in what gets built, and work on products used by millions, you will likely do your best work here. This is not a traditional PM role. We don't spend cycles trying to nudge a metric towards an arbitrary business goal.
A majority of the work here involves building innovative, 0-to-1 products at a high velocity. You will work side-by-side with engineers and designers as a unified team of builders. Our TPMs don't merely facilitate or orchestrate the work—they are hands-on, always, even when it involves unfamiliar territory. Bilt has ambitious strategic goals and your job is to own the products that achieve those goals by figuring out how to build them in the fastest, most scalable way, all while maintaining a high degree of quality. In this role, you will…Take product direction and turn it into something that ships quicklyOwn how things get built by constantly assessing scope, sequencing, and executionWork directly with engineering, design, and business owners to move things forward day to dayPrototype ideas yourself when it helps speed up decisionsBreak complex problems into simple, shippable piecesLeverage AI tools to shorten feedback loops and increase iteration velocityRun multiple threads at once without losing qualityStay close to everything happening in your pod and connect the dots across itHold a high bar for quality, no matter who the end customer isLook for ways to remove friction in how we build and shipGreat TPMs at Bilt:Have 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or a combination of bothHave a strong technical foundation (BA/BS in mathematics, technical, or analytical field)Want to understand how everything works, not just their piece of itCare about how something gets built just as much as what gets builtMove quickly and know when to keep something scrappy versus when to build it for massive scale, and when to do both at the same timeHave a passion for AI tools, expressed through hands-on prototyping, building automations, side projects, and constant experimentation with the latest toolsAre comfortable stepping outside of their role when neededHave strong instincts for product quality and user experienceCommunicate clearly and directlyCan go deep with engineers and make decisions with themUnderstand systems, constraints, and how things scaleBenefits:Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus programHealth insurance for you (& your loved ones) from day one - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, wellness stipends, family programs and more, on us.
