Responsibilities

  • Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality.
  • Manages projects that consist of a single development team.
  • Proposes and manages demand for application work.
  • Manages projects through all phases and milestones.
  • Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions.
  • Performs market and competitor analysis.
  • Authors product requirement documents (PDDs) and technical specs to support engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment.
  • Scopes and manages partner‑facing API and system‑to‑system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams through delivery.
  • Translates technical tradeoffs into business impact for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience

3‑4 years' relevant experience; experience with partner/vendor integrations or vertical SaaS strongly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One‑year relevant experience is equivalent to one‑year college)
  • Associate's Degree in a Technical Field
  • Certification in relevant focus area

Preferred

Experience in insurance, animal health, or another regulated/compliance‑heavy vertical.

Level Specific Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages product roadmaps.
  • Works with Marketing to determine advertising strategy for products.
  • Analyzes metrics and measures product performance; comfortable working with data engineering to validate reporting accuracy.
  • Manages larger projects that may consist of more than one development team.
  • Works with platform development vendors and internal cross‑functional partners (Design, Legal, Data, Engineering) to provide technical management. Owns the delivery of platform and services.
  • Manages product strategy and feature/capability set for business solutions.

Accountability/Complexity

  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity.
  • May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
