You will define technology strategy and set the technical direction for software projects while serving as a mentor to others on the team. The ability to prioritize projects and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success!Responsibilities/Expectations:Leads the design and development of sophisticated software solutions including hands-on development, testing, and debuggingDefines technical vision and guides the team in architectural decisionsCollaborates with partners to define project goals and requirementsProvides technical leadership and mentorship to developers and teamsContributes to the documentation of software solutions and processesPartners with business teams to apply artificial intelligence capabilities responsibly and creatively across enterprise, operational, and product delivery workflowsLeverages generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, and ethical AI practices to solve real business problemsBuilds or integrates AI-backed features into production systems, experimenting responsibly with emerging tools, platforms, and frameworksDemonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset by staying current with advances in AI and continuously learning new methodologiesOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences — if you don't meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potentialRequired: High school diploma/GED, Vocational/Technical/Business School, and a minimum of ten (10) years of software development experiencePreferred: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related fieldOther Requirements:Demonstrates outstanding organizational/communication skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExpert-level proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologiesDeep understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologiesExperience with crafting scalable and maintainable software systemsExceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated leadership experience in guiding technical teamsPreferred: proficiency with Azure cloud and Azure DevOpsStrong background in relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL ServerExperience leveraging LLMs and agentsProficiency in querying and crafting databasesWhy Tulsa?Because here, you don't have to choose between career and lifestyle.
