Technical Operator (Press Machine Operator)This position involves the set up and operation of presses in the forming process of ceramic component production.Primary Responsibilities:Setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machinesLoading presses with ceramic materialsPerforming manual assembly and equipment operation and working with the aid of tools for handling small partsReading process sheets, following written work instructions and following verbal instructions to perform production tasksChecking and inspecting products against predetermined tolerancesMaintaining accurate records written and electronicallyMaintaining a clean and safe work areaJob Requirements include:High school diploma or equivalentBasic math and computer skills (keyboarding and email)Ability to follow read and interpret work instructions as well as follow verbal instructionsAbility to use measurement tools such as micrometers and calipersAbility to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basisGood communication skillsBeing self-motivated and a team player who takes ownership and demonstrates accountabilityPreferred Skills:2-3 years related experienceExperience working with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipersWork schedule:Regular schedule will be 1st shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday).Benefits include:Medical, Dental, and VisionOption to participate in 401(k) plan with safe harbor matchCompany-paid Life InsuranceVacation and sick leavePaid holidaysTrans-Tech is an equal opportunity employer.
