What You'll Be Doing
* Shape proposal solutions, BOMs, and procurement strategies with BD and Engineering
* Evaluate supplier quotes to sharpen proposal competitiveness
* Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality for program execution
* Develop component integration strategies and electronics kits for assembly and test
* Optimize BOMs for cost, manufacturability, lifecycle, and availability
* Manage component lifecycle planning and obsolescence mitigation
* Build supplier relationships and drive competitive sourcing
What You'll Need to Be Considered
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
* 4-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Background in a for-profit defense/aerospace company, not solely military
* Comfortable working the full lifecycle, from customers to supplier sourcing
