Navy's Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base. This position is critical to the success of FWG's partnership with the U.S. Navy.
This position will manage all activities and the staff in an assembly function including a variety of product assembly operations on product components, assemblies and sub-assemblies.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the activities and staff in an assembly function including electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assembliesFollow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing and welding/fitting on assembly unitsMake setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specificationsEstablish and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exact tolerances and dimensionsInterpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specificationsDetermine sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setupAbility to use a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsMake standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speedMeasure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machiningFit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment and determine material, parts, and equipment requiredMay monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control proceduresDevelop and maintain professional, results-oriented relationships that strengthen FWG's reputation and support positive outcomes through documented communication, timely response, and issue resolutionAnticipate customer concerns and engage early to mitigate risk, resolve performance issues, and uphold FWG's record of quality and reliabilityEnsure all personnel maintain required certifications, training, and clearance eligibilityFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the teamOther duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assignedRequirements & QualificationsEducation:High School Degree RequiredAssociate's Degree in Electronics Technology, Information Technology or related technical field RequiredRelevant Military Technical Training Program (ex.
