React JS Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – React JS to lead the design, development, and delivery of a large‑scale E‑Commerce Web Portal. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in modern front‑end technologies, architecture design, team leadership, and agile delivery practices. The candidate will guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, driving technical excellence, and delivering a scalable, secure, and high‑performing customer‑facing e‑commerce platform. Experience with GitHub Copilot and/or Microsoft Copilot for developer productivity, code generation, documentation, and quality improvements.

Must‑Have Technical / Functional Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with React JS
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Responsive Design, and Cross‑Browser Compatibility
• Experience in developing large‑scale E‑Commerce applications
• Proficiency in API integration using RESTful services
• Experience with Node.js ecosystem and front‑end build tools
• Strong understanding of application performance optimization
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams
• Knowledge and practical usage of GitHub Copilot

Desired / Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js
• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
• Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of the E‑Commerce Web Portal.
• Define and implement scalable front‑end architecture using React JS.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, and Backend Teams.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Mentor and guide team members on technical and functional aspects.
• Drive performance optimization, security, and accessibility compliance.
• Identify technical risks and proactively recommend solutions.
• Participate in solution design, technical estimations, and sprint planning.
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical issues when required.

Generic Managerial Skills

Status reporting, status communication in daily calls, team mentoring.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE).

Salary Range

$120,000 - $140,000 a year
