Through innovative training and technology solutions, we help professionals gain the skills needed to improve homes, buildings, and communities.Headquartered in Huntersville, North Carolina, Everblue combines industry expertise, workforce development, and educational technology to support clients nationwide.Role OverviewEverblue is seeking a Technical Instructor to deliver engaging, hands-on training in energy efficiency, weatherization, building performance, and related technical disciplines.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others develop practical skills that lead to meaningful careers.As a member of Everblue's instructional team, you will facilitate classroom and field-based training, support workforce development initiatives, and help prepare participants for industry-recognized certifications and success in the field.We train statewide and nationally and will work with you to deliver training where it creates the greatest impact. Everblue provides instructor onboarding, curriculum support, and ongoing professional development to help instructors succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging classroom, virtual, and hands-on field training aligned with Everblue certification and workforce development programsFacilitate practical exercises and demonstrations while maintaining a safe and effective learning environmentTravel throughout Georgia and the Southeast as needed to support training deliveryAssess participant performance through field evaluations, skills demonstrations, and written assessmentsCollaborate with curriculum developers, clients, and operations staff to continuously improve training programsPrepare and maintain training materials, equipment, and classroom resourcesProvide exceptional customer service and represent Everblue professionally with clients, partners, and participantsSupport workforce development initiatives that expand opportunities within the energy efficiency industryMinimum QualificationsExperience teaching, training, coaching, mentoring, supervising, or developing adult learnersStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to facilitate learning in both classroom and field environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and related technology platformsAbility to manage logistics associated with travel-based training assignmentsValid driver's license and willingness to travel regularlyAbility to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and training environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience in energy auditing, weatherization, building performance, solar installation, HVAC, construction, facilities maintenance, building trades, or related technical disciplinesBPI, RESNET, NABCEP, LEED, or similar industry certifications preferredExperience delivering technical, workforce development, apprenticeship, certification, or adult education programsExperience conducting hands-on skills training in field environments Candidates with strong technical experience and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply, even if they do not currently hold industry certifications.
