DESCRIPTION
- Oversees from conception to final execution specifically managing the technical elements, bridging artistic vision with technical execution.
- Ensure the project's projects quality and safety by setting and enforcing the procedures to create a safe environment for performers and technicians.
- Trouble shoot during rehearsals and performances and act as the point person for any technical issues that arise diagnosing and resolving to keep production running smoothly.
- Directly involved in building sets, hanging lights, setting up sound equipment projections and other technology based elements.
- Train volunteer or student crews, often focusing on foundational skills and general safety procedures. TD trains student run crews crews.
- Function as both a manager and a technician.
