Technical DesignerImmediate need for a talented Technical Designer. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:As a Technical Designer, you will be an individual contributor responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.You will ensure products are developed to meet established fit, comfort, quality, and cost standards while aligning with manufacturer capabilities.Analyze and evaluate garments to develop accurate fit specifications.Ensure product development aligns with fit quality and cost objectives.Conduct fittings and communicate detailed fit comments to vendors.Develop and maintain tech packs with clear specifications and pattern corrections.Work closely with the design team to maintain design intent while adhering to comfort and quality standards.Coordinate with factories/vendors to address and resolve issues promptly.Write detailed fit comments and ensure accurate technical documentation.Utilize tools such as Centric, Flex PLM, Excel, and Illustrator effectively.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Key Skills: Technical DesigningILLUSTRATORFlex PMApparels Designing.Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience.Minimum of 7+ years in technical design, specifically in intimates/apparel (e.g., bras, panties, sleepwear, sport, or apparel).Strong expertise in fit management, pattern corrections, and garment construction.Experience with Cenctric, Flex PLM, Excel, and Illustrator is required.Ability to write comprehensive fit comments and create detailed tech packs.Expertise in specific product categories such as bras, panties, intimates, or apparel.Familiarity with tools like Empyrean and SmartView.Collaborative, adaptable, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.Approachable and empathetic.Flexible and capable of maintaining composure in stressful situations.Agile and willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines.Our client is a leading Retail Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
