Technical Designer

Technical DesignerImmediate need for a talented Technical Designer. This is a 03+ months contract opportunity and is located in Manhattan, New York (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Individual contributor position responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Candidates should have a strong pattern making background/ experience with knits and wovens/ PLM experience (we use centric)/ fast and efficient worker.Looking for junior TD level (5-10 yrs) - can be Sr.
