Technical Delivery Team Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Our banking partner is seeking a Junior Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to support two highly visible enterprise technology initiatives within the Banking and Corporate Finance Technology space. This individual will partner closely with delivery leadership, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive execution, coordination, reporting, and communication across large-scale technical programs.

This role will primarily support an enterprise-wide API Gateway migration effort while also contributing to a strategic AI-driven SRE optimization initiative. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment, and capable of keeping numerous teams aligned against critical timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery activities across multiple technical programs.
• Facilitate status meetings, document outcomes, and track action items.
• Monitor project milestones, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
• Partner with engineering, SRE, platform, and delivery teams to drive project execution.
• Manage project tracking artifacts using Jira and Confluence.
• Create and deliver status updates, progress reports, and executive summaries.
• Assist with requirements gathering and coordination between technical teams.
• Maintain project documentation and operational reporting.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deliverables remain on track.
• Proactively identify risks and elevate concerns when necessary.
• Support Agile delivery practices and ceremonies as needed.
• Help coordinate work across multiple workstreams and competing priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Technical Project Coordination, Project Management, Delivery Management, or a related field.
• Experience working within a technical or software development environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with APIs and API Gateway technologies
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and business processes.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure, cloud, SRE, or DevOps teams.
• Experience coordinating enterprise projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, or project tracking metrics.
• Familiarity with enterprise technology organizations and large-scale initiatives.
• Previous experience in a Technical Analyst, Technical Coordinator, Associate Project Manager, Scrum Coordinator, Delivery Analyst, or Junior Technical Delivery Manager role.
