Technical Data Analyst

BI Developer/Data AnalystThese are the fundamental components of the job:Collaborate with Applications and IT Team to improve functionality, analyze business needs and create and maintain documentation of all systems across the footprintEvaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutionsAssist with supporting all current business applications including technical assistance to over 600 end usersSupport BI Developer with internal QlikView requests such as dashboards, reports, and provide end user trainingAdministration of QlikView: adding/editing/disabling users; securing data and reports; troubleshooting technical issues under advisement of BI DeveloperOptimize and maintain dashboards and reports for all systems, assist with data quality initiatives / cleanup and identify process improvement opportunitiesAnalyze data from multiple sources (QlikView, Salesforce, Epic, Excel, SQL) for report and dashboard requests, to determine best system for reporting and verify structure and quality of data to ensure report integrity and accuracyWork with end users to gather specifications for data and report requirements and effectively translate end user reporting requirements into best systemUtilize and interpret data models including data transformation, generating QVDs and writing scriptsDevelop understanding of each position in the agency and critical software and integrations used to support the positionSupport software upgrades and software confirmation changes by reviewing release notes and implementing necessary database changes within multiple systemsOther functions of the job:Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requestedContinue QlikView, SQL, Epic and Salesforce education including various certificationsSkills / traits that we value for this role:At least 3-5 years proven experience as a BI Developer or Data AnalystBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of databases/database relationships including SQLAdvanced MS Excel skills a must!Epic, Salesforce and/or QlikView/QlikSense knowledge a plusProven analytical and problem?solving abilitiesPositive attitude, even in a fast?paced environmentAbility to effectively multi?task, work quickly and efficientlyStrong analytical and critical thinking to evaluate data from multiple sourcesFinancial background or experience in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems desirablePrecise verbal and written communication skillsA bit about Lawley!We are not a call center environmentWe achieve success by building genuine relationships together, with our teams and clientsWe are a family owned insurance broker (70+ years!)We are deeply committed to the communities we serve and love to get involvedWe work hard and play hard!!!Why Lawley?Competitive salary and referral bonuses!Expansive Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision—and SO many more)3 weeks of PTO (prorated based on start date) AND a generous holiday schedule – available 1st day!Company 401K contribution received starting Day 1 (for participants 21+ years old)Educational support, career development, and growth opportunitiesJob Security (we've never had a lay-off, even during the pandemic)Flexibility, including hybrid schedules! It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $51,498.15 to $85,830.25.
