Working for this company will guarantee access to innovative technology, and it has also been consistently competitive in "top places to work" lists.Scope: Technical Business Analyst / Product Owner ResponsibilitiesShould have the ability to author User Stories and Epics in tools like JiraPerform Technical Analysis/Preliminary Testing/Onboarding of new services to be consumedCreate Wireframes/Mock UIResolve Team's queries during the sprint and remove roadblocks for developmentPerform user story Grooming/Planning with TeamWrite up Release Notes for new sprintsConduct Sprint Demo with StakeholdersWorks with Software Developers to support design and development, as requiredFunctions a liaison between the stakeholders, user community, and internal Software Engineers to develop system solutionsAnalyzes business strategy and user needs, revises existing system logic as necessary, documents requirements and specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specificationsPrepares detailed functional and technical specifications from which programs will be writtenPlans and assists with oversight of testing processes and activities, and assists business users in validating that the programs meet the requirementsParticipates in test procedures to help compare test results against requirements to validate that coding is accurateDevelops or assists in the development of work plans, time schedules, and project task items for the Scrum teamProvides subject matter expert and operational support to internal business partnersIdentifies risks and issues, and seeks approval on complex mattersEnsures quality and integrity across application implementationsMaintains a working knowledge of system interaction to ensure success in overall architectural solutionConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significanceExperience with Agile project management – should be able to perform as Agile SCRUM master when requiredRegular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessaryOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field4-5 years related experience as a BA in developing requirements and performing system analysisPresentation skills (MS Visio, Excel and MS Powerpoint)Experience in creating UI Mock up's using MS Visio / Balsamiq / Mockup BuilderShould have knowledge of SOAP UI and REST Client to test servicesExperience in using Jira and ConfluenceJava knowledge is an added plusShould have extensive experience Agile methods and principlesStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to clearly communicate ideas and solutionsFamiliarity in cable and telecommunications technologies including video, broadband, and phone is a huge plus
